London Planetarium - Star Gazing in London
The London Planetarium allows you to experience the night sky in a way you have never seen it before. You are able to touch a 4.5 billion year old meteorite, be able to see the formation of the universe, have a go at being an astronomer and even guide a space mission. With a series of exhibitions, hands on experiences and live shows this will certainly be a day to remember. It's free to enter The London Planetarium however there is a fee to enter the live shows that take part throughout the week.
One of the tours is a live show Night Sky Tour presented by a Royal Observatory astronomer. You will be guided through the planets, constellations, cosmic gas clouds, comets and shoot stars by an astronomer who will be able to train your eye to see the magical night's sky. You can learn how to see things like Jupiter's moons and Saturn's rings with just a pair of binoculars in the live shows which is sure not to disappoint.
To view the other tours available and book your tickets, see the London Planetarium website www.nmm.ac.uk/visit/planetarium-shows.
